Full-Width Embroidery Fabric: A Wholesale Buyer’s Checklist

Full-width embroidery can become the main visible surface of a garment, so the buying decision involves more than choosing a decorative colour. The base, placement of embroidery and cutting direction all matter. Start with the product gallery, keep the original design reference, and turn the details you cannot measure from a screen into questions for Rose.

Distinguish full-width fabric from decorative trim

A narrow trim is intended for a limited placement, while a full-width embroidered fabric requires a garment cutting plan. Confirm the usable width and how the embroidered areas are distributed. Do not calculate the body of a dress from the width of a photographed strip, and do not assume that every pictured edge can be used in the same way.

Review the whole motif as well as the close-up

Use the complete image to judge the overall arrangement, then review details for the visible stitch and surface decoration. Ask for motif measurements and direction if placement is important. A close-up can make a small motif appear large; an overall photograph may hide fine details. Neither view alone establishes the exact dimensions needed for a pattern.

Keep design codes and sample decisions together

The catalogue retains H and Q design references. H103 and Q880 are grouped together following confirmation, with both references retained. Do not merge other references just because they look similar. Save the selected code, colour and approved sample information so a later enquiry can identify the intended design without relying on memory or a cropped screenshot.

Read warehouse photos as dated records

The separate gallery contains 53 warehouse photographs received on 23 October 2026, divided into designs and rolls, and warehouse and bulk preparation. These are visual records, not a live stock counter. Confirm current colours, quantities, composition, width, selling unit and minimum order for the chosen reference. The wax range’s 6-yard unit must not be assumed for embroidery.

Your buying checklist

  • Save the H or Q reference and colour.
  • Ask for usable width and motif measurements.
  • Discuss cutting direction and lining with your maker.
  • Confirm current stock and the order unit directly.
