Raised embroidery details: review contact with the garment surroundings

Raised decorative details deserve attention beyond their sparkle in a close-up. A sleeve may sit beside a bag, a cuff may meet another fabric, and an opening may pass over a decorated area. Buyers can ask the maker for a practical contact review without claiming that a product has a certified snag-resistance rating.

Locate the contact zones

Mark where the decorated fabric meets the garment's other layers or nearby accessories during normal use. Include the exact material references. A detail that sits freely on a skirt may have a different context at an underarm or close to a fastening.

Observe without destructive pulling

Examine a designated sample from the front and reverse. Let the maker check ordinary handling with the planned neighbouring material, without deliberately catching or dragging decoration. Record any visible interaction and the location. Do not turn an informal handling observation into a formal durability result.

Agree a placement response

If the maker identifies an issue, compare suitable placement or construction alternatives. Keep each revised sample labelled so it is clear what changed. Do not remove decorative components or apply adhesive to the bulk material simply because one sample position was unsuitable.

Keep the decision specific

Save the accepted arrangement, photographs and unresolved questions. Ask for any product-specific handling or care information that is needed. A satisfactory comparison with one smooth lining does not prove compatibility with every accessory, rough surface or garment construction.
